(OK, I'm a bonehead) Date: 16 Apr 1996 11:36:08 -0400 Organization: Virtual Networks Lines: 19 Message-ID: <cnordin.829668813@news.vni.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: hq.vni.net X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #6 (NOV) BSDI 2.x Boot and Root Floppy, How do I make one? I've got the install disk going, I can break out of it. I've also learned how to copy an install disk (format/newfs/dd), but I want a disk that doesn't immediately try to install things and I want one with restore on it... Is there a pre-configured "maintenance" root 'n boot, or do I have to roll my own. -- http://www.vni.net/ cnordin@vni.net Fly VNI: Send E-Mail to info@vni.net
