The ftp speed is fairly slow: average 25Kbyte/sec. Is this the normal speed? (2) The XFree86 can be start up when it's in local disk. However, when XFree86 is on NFS, normal user cannot start up the XFree86. It reported can't open mouse. The root can still start up the X window but will hang sometimes (may be due to the heavy NFS activity with 25kbyte/sec speed).
