Message-ID: <317696fa.771738@news.olywa.net> Date: Thu, 18 Apr 1996 19:27:45 GMT X-Newsreader: Forte Agent .99d/32.168 Lines: 16 I just installed FreeBSD 2.1.0 via anonymous FTP. I left it to download overnight, and after it completed the install, my ISP dropped the line. I configured after the install, and tried to load in packages, after re-initializing the PPP line. Install didn't like it in the least, and refused to download anything. I tried to re-boot into the install disk, and cannot get it to mount my BSD disk. If anyone knows how to gather packages automatically after you have already installed FreeBSD, I'd love to hear how you do it. Any information about the Packages concept and locations would be helpful (even using ftp later, I was not able to find all of the packages on wcarchive.cdorm.com). Thanks, Future BSD devotee (assuming...)
