I can connect just fine if I make all entries by hand (i.e. line, speed, parity) but still the -auto option just will not work. Some details: fixed IP, 486, dialup (duhh) Also, once connected, if I close the ppp connection, I must reboot to get it back {;-( Any thooughts (perhaps more helpfull than "what a DA" - I'm feeling a bit like that already thanks...)
