Yay Amancio. Amancio Hasty, 386BSD guru, has ported X11R5 to the S3. He claims functionality on the Actix GraphicsEngine and Orchid Fahrenheit 1280. The port is a modification of Kevin Martin's X8514 server. It is one of the major graphics chipsets, and to see it unsupported for so long has been a serious detriment to the cause of free X on the PC. c
