When I boot the machine I get the following message: (ahc0:2:0): "SONY CD-ROM CDU-76S 1.0a" type 5 removable SCSI 2 cd0(ahc0:2:0): CD-ROM cd0(ahc0:2:0): UNIT ATTENTION asc:28,0 cd0(ahc0:2:0): Not ready to ready transition, medium may have changed cd present.[400000 x 2048 byte records] The cdrom drive (and DAT) seem to work just fine, but I'm a little bit worried... This happens both if there is a cd in the drive or not. Thanks for the help, Enrico. -- _______________________________________________________________________________ enrico@mikimen.com * Enrico Brunetta * (512) 345-3045 The Mikimen Group, 11008 Jollyville Rd #216, Austin, TX 78759
