You are begging for trouble by not returning it while you have the
chance.  Errors like that generally indicate the drive is preparing
to croak.  It also could be heat-related.  4gig cudas really need
to be in their own external enclosure with a reasonable amount of
airflow across them.  IF it failed/fails due to blatant heat problems,
Seagate might not replace it.  They aren't designed to be stuck in
a desktop pc case.
