Message-ID: <Dq7DG5.830@relay.sheridanc.on.ca> Sender: news@relay.sheridanc.on.ca (USENET News System) Nntp-Posting-Host: viking.sheridanc.on.ca Organization: Sheridan College, Ont., Canada X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Date: Sun, 21 Apr 1996 08:12:04 GMT Lines: 14 Because bsd/os 2.1 doesn't seem to come with an implementation of YP, I have been left with the task trying to update the local password file with our yp maps' source. I have written a perl script to format the file properly, but when I execute pwd_mkdb, it fails at about the 17779th record (there's roughly a total of 18000 records). It complains about "line too long". The line in question is not too long; there are other lines previous to this that are much longer. Can someone help me out here? -- Rob Naccarato rob.naccarato@sheridanc.on.ca
