It's not just you, the Xserver dies on some of the x11perf tests for
me as well.

I took a really quick look at the core dump, and ddxGiveUp is 
calling abort, which explains the problem. I haven't perused the
sources yet to figure out why.

This is kind of a drag, because you can't run x11perf -all.
