I have a Diamond Speedstar 24X w/1MB vram. When I first ran X, it said that it would not run 1024x768. Then I tried the Xaccel package, and it ran 1024x768. When I switched back, it ran 1024x768 (wierd.). But all of a sudden, it will only run 800x600. Any ideas? It also would not let me use virtual windows in 1024x768.. it said not enough mem. (is this using system mem or vram? I have 12MB +30MB swap..) 2. When I tried to create my own .xinitrc in my dir, X would not work. It started up and shat itself. Any bugs with this? Thanks..
