Hmmm ... is it because the kernel supplied with the X distribution is for a machine with a 387 installed ? If so, does anyone have one without that ? Or am I just confused ? I have a plain 386SX-25 without a 387 installed. I would like to be able to have both X and floating point ops ;^) Any pointers would be appreciated. Arthur!! The 1.0.3 kernel binary is the same as the GENERICISA except for the XFree86 related patches. So, it should have the same floating point emulation codes as the kernel in the dist.fs floppy. Rich
