What boot blocks am I suppose to use with the Adaptec 2940?

I have tried all the options and still cannot get BSDI to boot from the hard
drive. I must resort to booting from floppy.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I am using an older AHA-2940 and not the 2940U.

Regards,
John.
