Any one installed a very new ADAPTEC 2940 U pci scsi on BSDI 2.1.
I am aware there is a problem with the orginal boot disks, but I
called BSDI and got the latest copy of the install and patch disks.

Then got crc error so slowed the dma and cpu speed and cache off.
So that fixed that problem, now after the new install disk installs
all the 24 packages it install ok but on reboot said no bsd lablel.

If i install a adaptec 1542 no problem in installing so i know it
about the 2940.

Any info would be greatly welcome. Please email or post back.
