The controller is the KT-950C (replaces the KT-956C) supposed to be Wide, Ultra and FAST the devices that will comprise the chain are all SCSI-II's a couple of fujitsu chambers, a cdrom and a tape streamer, as for a motherboard, a standard clone intel triton 2 with pci bus. I'll leave the commentary on the quality of BusLogic support in FreeBSD to others. However, the BT-950 is not supported and is most definitely not the successor to the BT-956C. The BT-958 is the successor to the BT-956C and should work as well on FreeBSD as the BT-956C does. The BT-950 is a FlashPoint card, has no onboard CPU, and is an entirely different architecture. The BT-958 is a MultiMaster card and uses the same mailbox interface that previous BusLogic host adapters have used. Leonard
