Hi,

I can't set hostname, it always reverts to myhost. I have changed the
value of hostname in sysconfig, and still it reverts to myhost. I set
up /etc/hosts, and resolv.conf. This causes problems with sendmail, I can't
send mail to other users on the machine. So what else could be wrong?

Also, I got x-windows running at one point, and now suddenly, I get the error:
SVGA: Insufficient video memory for all resolutions
...
Fatal server error:
No valid modes found.

All I did was install xdm on one of my virtual terminals, then couldn't login
because I hadn't defined any root passwd. So I rebooted without syncing, and
had to load up the original floppy disk, and go through custom installation,
mounting partitions,ect...
I broke out of the installation and went to post -installation, and created
a few users. Then I rebooted the machine, and xdm didn't work. xstart gave
me the above error. So I ran the xf86config again, and still nothing happened.

Any ideas?
