Does 2.2-960323-SNAP compile? I pulled in all of the ssys.?? files,
and found I got the following compiler error:

./i386/i386/genassym.c
./../i386/i386/genassym.c:40: opt_sysvipc.h: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Do I need some additional source archives besides the ssys files?

The main reason I'm looking into 2.2-SNAP is for its optical disk driver.
As an alternative, can anyone point me to 2.1 kernel patches for this
device driver?

Thanks.
