We are trying to get a data translations dt3155 to work on BSDi 2.0.1 on a P100
machine with accelerated X using the X shared memory extensions for better
performance.

When we link a test file, it cannot find the XShm stuff.

I think that I have to recompile the libXext.a library with the shared memory
extensions enabled. We have the source on the BSDi cdrom.

Any pointers on how to compile one of these libraries.
