I went back to Award BIOS according to your suggestion. Although that didnt help the situation as BIOS never was the problem, it was my Intel PCI 100Mbps ethernet card. The driver for which was just dying in the middle of installation for some reason. Thanks for the tip. Atif Khan aak2@ra.msstate.edu
