I'm trying to get some idea of the disk space required for various
installs of FreeBSD.....everything from a minimal to a full blown
bells, whistles, xfree86 install. Haven't found anything in the faqs
that I can use as a guideline. It'd be nice to get some idea of how
much space I'll need before I start to install the OS!

Also are there any known problems using the newer, large ide drives
(specifically the quantum at1280 fireball) with FreeBSD.
