If the cache design on the motherboard is properly implemented, BSD/OS
will never "see" the cache and things should hum right along.  The
various reviews in computer rags that I've seen claim that EDO RAM
+ pipeline burst cache can improve performance by 5-10%.  Using EDO
alone resulted in no speed difference.
