I was wondering if there is support for the Adaptec 3985 under FreeBSD.
Supposedly it is only supported by Netware (so Adaptec claims). I'd like
to upgrade from my 3940 to a RAID Level 0 or 1 striping Hardware
controller (such as the 3985) but Am hesitant to buy such an expensive
card without any support yet. Does anyone see any support soon?
Alternatively, Is CCD Striping very fast/effecient compared to hardware
striping? I'm considering CCD but haven't done enough research yet to get
a clear idea of how stable it would be to run.

Thanks.
