I have it running; it looks like I built patchlevel E (latest at
the time :) back in Jan 1995.  I can probably recover the configuration
from tape if you become desparate.

From memory it was a fairly reasonable Cnews build -- the performance
release at least uses Makefiles, which was a change for the better.
I'm most likely using the dbz stuff, since my level of trust in
the ndbm emulation is low.

That wasn't very helpful, was it?
