The command line used was: % patch math_emulate.c math.emulate.patch As there are no man pages for patch, I suspect I did something wrong. I don't really know how the command line should be specified, I just guessed. I ended up patching it manually with good old Emacs with the .c in one window, and the patch in another window. :) Idon't really wish to do that - it would be better if I could do it automatically.
