When attempting to apply a patch (specifically the math_emulate.c patch)
patch reports "Looks like a context diff to me" and tries Plan A and Plan
B, fails, and writes the patch lines to math_emulate.c.rej.

The command line used was:

% patch math_emulate.c math.emulate.patch

As there are no man pages for patch, I suspect I did something wrong. I
don't really know how the command line should be specified, I just guessed.

I ended up patching it manually with good old Emacs with the .c in one
window, and the patch in another window. :)

Idon't really wish to do that - it would be better if I could do it
automatically.
