The 2 GB disk has bootable partitions for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95/ NT. I am using System Commander to manage the MBR. The install seems to proceed ok, but if I select BSD upon reboot of the system after the the install, the boot sequence progresses to the point of trying to mount the root partition then fails with a message saying the root partition cannot be mounted. What is the probable cause of the problem? I suspect that not being disk1 to be the likely cause. Everyone I know has installed FreeBSD on disk1. Thanks, John
