This group is oriented toward the freely available Unixes (primarily Linux, FreeBSD, or NetBSD) and anyone with interest in these operating systems is invited to attend. The discussion topic will be "backups and remotable media." We will meet in the computer science conference room, room 141, which is near the NW corner of the Farris building. The building's main entrance is on the East side of the building and is usually open. If it is not, the entrance on the North side of the building will be open. We have a maillist at fuunm@astro.phys.unm.edu which can be subscribed to by mailing to fuunm-request@astro.phys.unm.edu and ask to be put on the FUUNM maillist. Directions to the Farris Engineering Center: The Farris Engineering Center is a three story building located near the Central Ave. and University Blvd. intersection.
