I understand that .tar files are similar to files created with pkzip (yep I'm coming from dosland) containing the various files as well as the file directory information. I suspect that the .z part means that this has been compressed. Now on to the question. How do I install it?...<G> And also where can I get some info on dealing with .tar and .z files. I have some books ordered but they haven't come in yet... Thanks one and all for any help. ---- _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ Ward R.
