Submit a Problem Report (PR) for it. Use send-pr.

The rule of thumb is twice the RAM size. As with all rule of thumbs,
your mileage may vary. :)

PLIP is there, and at least in the 2.2-SNAP, there's an option to have
it Crynwr compatible. (That's what recent Linuces also do, though
early ones had yet another incompatible one, like FreeBSD's default
PLIP is only compatible to FreeBSD.)

To use it, add the ``link0'' flag to your ifconfig command line for
device lp0.

You've got an APM BIOS? I don't really know much about them, i
believe there's some optional support for it available, but not in the
default system. Best is to turn off all power management while
installing, and then read the handbook section about building a custom
kernel, and study the comments in the LINT config file (which serves
as a reference for all the options).

automagically reminds me of your wish.)

(Mailed and posted.)
