: I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.1.0 into 386 + Hercules compatible system. Is
: this possible? So far, it always locked up very early in the installation,
: Then when I change monitor/card to VGA it works fine. Are there flags that I
: need to know about? Thnaks!

I have run both 2.2.xxxxxx-SNAP and 2.1.0 RELEASE in i386DX40
box. They work fine now BUT there was some diffuculties with
one of my Hercules cards. The system just hanged when trying to
boot the system. I believe the problem has something to do
with kernel trying to reset the video card.

After changing the never Hercule card to an old (so old that
is is actuyally a full lenght car :) hercules card, the system
	has worked fine since...
