I know many operating systems that have much better crash protection for programs than Win95, and the best thing is that the monetary price is ZERO. Unless, of course, you want to buy the distributions, but hey, if I want to melt my modem in the download process, that's my prerogative. :) Heck, even the operating system simulator that I'm programming in one of my classes has better crash protection.
