What happens is this: whenever the card is installed, floppy boot from install disk results in a hang after displaying 'Changing root device to fd0a'. Both floppy drive and hard drive lights are lit. Without card the system boots just fine. When I install BSDI without the card, everything is fine, but whenever I install the card, the same thing happens at boottime. The card is configured IRQ 10, I/O 0x300 and plug-n-play is disabled on the newer version of the card. Does anyone have a clue what is wrong here? Please reply by email.
