Quite frankly every boot manager is lacking in one respect or another but I have found the best all-purpose one is System Commander. But it costs about $50-60. As for the free ones, I've kinda liked osbs the best except of the fact it won't allow the booting off of a secondary drive. I believe OS/2's allows you to do this but it doesn't hang too well with all of the unix system's I've installed, especially UnixWare.
