When I start the server with au -aa & it seems to work fine but auplay test.wav says it cannot connect to server. I got it to work with au :tcp:127.0.0.1:8000 -aa & and auplay -audio tcp/127.0.0.1:8000 test.wav It plays the wave and then hangs up. ^C exits it, but I am unable to play any other sound unless I kill au and restart again. The computer is off-line, I mean, it is not networked (I use it for developing at home). Another laptop (of a friend) have the same problem.
