If you have two 2940, the first one will be  called ahc0 and the second one
the obvious ahc1.

With two SCSI controller, why would you need to add a third one ? Just hook
the tape or the CD on one of the SCSI controllers...

Anyway, of course you can have three SCSI controllers in one machine :-)
