Tried to install as dual boot on 540M dos drive - ran into geometry problems,
so decided to allocate entire disk to freebsd.

Used novice install - seemed like everything was going ok, but now when I
try to boot with boot.flp disk, I get "Error: C:0 H:0 S:16".

I figured I screwed up the master boot record, so tried to recover using
pfdisk.exe from floppy drive, repartioning and also changing disk geometry
to what cmos says it is - also tried to enter the disk geometry that the
boot.flp disk originally defaulted to, which I guess was different 'cause
of disk translation...

I haven't loaded any unix/unix-like operating system before, so alot of this
is new to me. I'll continue to read the faq, etc. (the intent was to load
this from the 'Net, so I don't have any books on *BSD), but meanwhile, can
anybody can offer suggestions?

Also please tell me: Am I having fun yet?

Thanks
John
