I've always dealt with them via email, partly because of the convenience, and partly because the phone support person (or people, though I doubt they have more than one) wouldn't talk to me because she didn't believe that we'd paid for support. That said, I've had mixed results via email -- largely dependent on who on their end sends it. I've had to fight with one certain person there to get the answers, which is especially frustrating when the release notes are in error. They say that the Buslogic BT956C is "supported", though this person at BSDI finally told me after I hounded him that wide transfers do *not* work with any SCSI controller, and that *no* differential controllers will work. This was when I was putting together a PO to order FWD controllers and disks.
