Keywords: ami bios Message-ID: <4357@winnie.fit.edu> Date: 22 Oct 92 17:40:22 GMT Sender: usenet@winnie.fit.edu Organization: Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne USA Lines: 30 I am having trouble with installing 386BSD on my system: I have AMI Bios dated 5/5/91. Configuration: 386/33 Ultrastor 14F in WD emulation mode (ISA 16 heads 63 sect ...) Bus Mastering disabled, etc. As per manual. 334 MB Minisribe 9380S drive, low leveled, etc. Cyrix FPU... this should be the relevent stuff. I ran the install program on the clean hardrive, used all of the drive for BSD... Everthing copied, mount worked but when I rebooted to boot off the HD, I get an infinite reboot... I have also tried having DOS in one partition and BSD in another, and got the same thing... Any help would be great... Brian Keith Gann email @ gann@zach.fit.edu
