I've tried everything but I can't get NFS to work. When I try to mount I get
a Program not registered error. When I try to mount on another machine, it
fails too. I'm not concerned too much about mountd at this point, but rather
I'd like to get some disk space from another machine.

I've applied all patches relating to NFS and mountd in the patches kit and
rebuild the kernel. I start portmap and then type mount -t nfs....
I haven't tried putting an entry into fstab, but I can't see how that would
make any difference.

What am I missing? I hope someone can help
