I'm a new convert from Linux, have the FreeBSD CD at home and am getting
off to the same shakey start I had with Linux - it won't recognize my
Creative Labs IDE CDROM drive. I *could* copy important stuff, bits
at a time, to my smaller DOS HDD, but it's pretty full of useful things.
And I was hoping to not have to jump through the same hoops.

There was finally a work-around for Linux, so I'm hoping there is a new
installation boot disk out there that might have better support. I was
able to go in and repartition the HDD to my liking, but without having
the CDROM recongnized that was about all I could do.

Any help is, of course, greatly appreciated.
