I have a 850MB IDE and a 1.2GB SCSI HDD connect at a Adaptec 2940. It run's with DOS and OS/2. But now I have installed Free BSD, because it's better :-)) And now I have an big Problem with my HDD's Here my Partitions : First IDE-HDD 850MB 2MB Bootmanager PRI 400MB DOS PRI 350MB DOS LOG Second SCSI-HDD 1.2GB 250MB OS/2 450MB DOS(Games) LOG 530MB FreeBSD Now, the problem is: I can't boot from my IDE-HDD the FreeBSD-system, because I must switch off the switch in the Adaptec 2940 Bios dos>1GB. So my Bootmanager can't find the FreeBSD partition, because it is higher than 1GB. I start my FreeBSD at this time, if I switch im my Bios the IDE-HDD off and start FreeBSD. If I will back to DOS I start DOS with a Startdisk and reset the Bootflag, then I boot new and can play with DOS. This is not great :-(( Have anywhere an idea to help me ? Sorry, i'm not a good english writer but I will lern it :-) Ciao Daniel Ingmar Let's talk to me ... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTERNET: daniel@speedy.ruh.de FIDO-NET: 2:2444/1005.10 --------------------------------------------------------------------------
