Put your cdrom in the drive from dos (if you have win95, unload the gui,
and 'reboot to dos' mode), then cd to your cdrom, and type 'inst_ide',
and it should unload the dos kernel, and load the freebsd kernel right
off the cd. you will need to do a custom install, and put the kernel
sources on your hd during installation, since the genereic kernel doesn't
have ide supprt compiled in by default.
