Solaris likes it. FreeBSD 2.1R likes it(mostly). I can now issue a "startx" command and get an X session, however if I try to use one of the other window managers(fvwm, or ovwm), I get the following : TRANS(SocketINETConnect) () can't connect : errno=61 can't open display I will get this same series of error messages if I issue an "xhost +" command. I've tried setting the DISPLAY variable to several things( `hostname`:0.0, unix:0.0, {hosts IP address}:0.0). What's different between tvwm(which I believe startx uses by default) and the other wms ? Any help will be appreciated. TIA Mark Velasquez
