All right, I don't mind admitting I'm relatively new to both Unix and to FreeBSD. Could you please enlighten me on how you extended UserIDs to more than 8 characters? I found the check in the adduser program, but even when I changed that it didn't work right. What else do I need to do, pray tell? I'm starting a new FreeBSD-powered WebSite and would like to be able to bypass this limit. Thanks much, Ken
