Thanks to all who responded to this question via this group and
e-mail. Rarely have I received such fast, accurate responses from a
news group.

If this level of support is the norm then I shall be more than happy
to carry on learning about FreeBSD. From what I've seen of the system
so far it seems well worth the effort.
