I am really impressed with the new ftp install on freebsd (latest snap).
It really flows easily and is very intuitive. Kudos to the fellers who
put that thing together in its news incantation.

I still have two problems that I need to resolve to get my newbie toy
up and running, minimally.

1) Where do I change the (Del) key destructive backspace to a plain
(Backspace) (the old fashioned ctrl-h type) key destructive backspace.

2) I can't seem to get lpr to work (common problem). I would have thought
that a minimal lpr would be up and running in the autoinstall defaults.
When I try a ``cat filename.ps | lpr'' it returns an error message
``lpr: lp: unknown printer''. The etc/printcap line is:

   ``lp|local line printer:\
            :lp=/dev/lpt0:sd=/var/spool/output/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:''

There was no /var/spool/output/lpd directory, so I created one (no joy).
   lpd.lock is in /var/spool/output.

Something is still not set right, somewhere, and it is not intuitively
   obvious to me this round.

3) Where is a good version of elm to be found (I like that mailer).

Any quick pointers (except them thar null ones) appreciated.
