Support for both is shipping with FreeBSD. :-) : Sorry, i don't have a real answer for your question, but never- : theless, the above should be workable. If your DOS box is actually : Winbloze 3.11 or higher, you might also want to use Samba, which can : make your BSD print spooler appear as a regular Winbloze network : printer. : If your DOS box is really DOS only, things will be harder since you : need some sort of lpd support. Everything i've seen so far basically : sucked (more or less). Oh I don't know.... the CUTCP (Clarkson University TCP) stuff is pretty good under DOS. That coupled with the XFS stuff and you've got telnet, rlogin, lpr, NFS... is there anything else ? Oh yes, the SOSS will export NFS from DOS - but not to FreeBSD for some reason..... : -- : cheers, J"org : joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE : Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-) -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
