I have mountd, nfsd and portmapper running and there are no permissions problems because I don't get any errors about RPC or permissions. The Linux machine just hangs as soon as I issue the mount like this: mount freebsdbox:/blah /mnt (It doesn't hang the machine -- it just never exits and mounts). But interestingly, if I do a showmount on the freebsd box at that time, it says that the Linux box DID mount something off it. Eventually, i have to just kill the mount process on the Linux box to recover. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Shoel Perelman perelman@cscmicro.com PS - If possible, could you e-mail me if you respond as I may not see it?
