[snip] Hi, I forgot to put in my last article posting that somehow the routed timeout has vanished since I got the DNS working in its half-hearted manner. I put in larger longevity settings for each DNS local address, and may also have changed the launch parameters for routed and others that were in the /etc/sysconfig system setup file. So far, the machine can be on for several hours and still not timeout! It's great, but I can't remember specifically what I changed because I poked around with everything to try to get it all to go! Good luck with your install. Regards, Chris K. Skinner.
