Most are in DOS (yuck) and occasionally in Windoze. This is a requirement since we sell DOS based software with our product. A couple of machines are migrating to OS/2 as a better platform of our software. I want to develop the code for our 68332 uP on UN*X. It gives me C/C++, source level debugging and more that DOS can't offer. How ever I would like to be able to access the existing network. If only in one direction, so I can at least run backups. Will either of FreeBSD or Linux allow me to do this? What software might be needed? All help and information will be greatly appreciated --- James E.
