Lines: 21 Message-ID: <4o4j9e$rq@anorak.coverform.lan> X-NNTP-Posting-Host: awfulhak.demon.co.uk X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] This isn't the correct place to ask... I know, but some of you people will know the answer and I can't figure any other way to find out. I want my own domain - something like awfulhak.org. My theory is that if I ask nicely, and the person who admins the .org zone is nice back, they'll set awfulhak.org up as a pointer to awfulhak.demon.co.uk on their DNS, and not charge me 100 pounds a year for the privilege. Note, that awfulhak.demon.co.uk is a machine called awfulhak in the demon.co.uk domain (I don't know if this is actually a zone or not). Demon (my ISP) will set me up as awfulhak.com, but charge 120 pounds/annum in addition to the 120 pounds they already charge for Internet services. Is there a problem with this theory ? If not, how to I find out who admins the different zones/domains ? Thanks for any suggestions or pointers. -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
