During the last 3 months I installed FreeBSD on 5 machines - all equiped with ATI Mach64 cards (xpression, winturbo). Only on ONE machine the XFree 3.11 (or 3.12) X Server was running properly. And: I had 5 ATI card with 3 different RAMDAC chips. However, as I'm a ATI-fan I tried out the XInside Server. Result: this server runs on all of the ATI cards. OK, I had to pay for it (NOT FREE) but I feel that the server is worth the money. bye berni -- ------------------------------------------------------ | Berni Ernst - berni@bullet.rhein-neckar.de | | Phone +49 6401 / 2 18 36 | ------------------------------------------------------
